Ideas for a Fairer Economy
Is there a positive alternative to Coalition austerity? What does responsible capitalism look like? How can we create jobs and invest in public services, while cutting the deficit and making sure we meet international commitments on aid and climate change?
On Monday the 1st of October, The Robin Hood Campaign, alongside Compass and the Co-operative party will be holding a fringe event at the Labour conference to discuss Ideas for a Fairer Economy.
We will be joined by our panel for an evening of ideas and debate: Larry Elliott (Economics Editor, The Guardian), Chris Leslie MP (Shadow Financial Secretary to the Treasury), Polly Toynbee (Columnist, The Guardian), Frances O’Grady, (General Secretary Designate, TUC), Neal Lawson (Director, Compass), and David Hillman (Director, Stamp Out Poverty).
'Ideas for a Fairer Economy' takes place at 8.00-9.30pm on Monday, 1 October 2012 at Manchester Central, Central 3.

#1 I Support Robin Hood Tax
This is a great idea to support people who are in real need. There are many hundreds of thousands Bangladeshi living in poor condition.
I support Robin Hood Tax. I want to be an active member of it. Please inform when it takes place in Bangladesh.
