In response to Barclay's annual results, David Hillman, spokesperson for the Robin Hood Tax campaign said:
"Once again Barclays has paid out over a £1bn in fines and compensation, but still manages to award an eye-popping £1.5bn in bonuses. In no other sector of the economy is failure so richly rewarded.
"Something is seriously wrong when CEO Jes Staley takes home a tidy £4m, while ordinary families across the country struggle to make ends meet."
